100 Years 100 Stories is a series of home archiving workshops that seek to preserve the lived histories of Detroiters into the historical record of our city. As the city’s historical record for 100 years, we understand that the lives, struggles, achievements, and ingenuity of Detroiters is what moves the city forward. In truth, the artifacts and stories we remember and preserve today become history in the future – you deserve to be remembered.

In this special collection, you will experience the stories of regular, everyday Detroiters. If you’re interested in having your oral history preserved in the city’s collection, you can find more information here.
